Amanda Zarella graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She has experience in heavy industrial construction, environmental health and safety, as well as consulting.
Her environmental health and safety work has included asbestos debris removal from the demolition of a power plant in New Jersey and cleaning up contaminants at the New Bedford Harbor Superfund site. She has been working in the field for over a decade.
Over the last few years, she has been refining her Environmental Health and Safety skills and applying them to improve businesses. She is excited to be close to home for the first time since most of her career was spent on the road traveling from site to site.
Amanda is excited to build a better company-wide safety culture. Petra Schaefer, the owner, said, “Amanda brings to us a wealth of health and safety experience, and we are thrilled to have her as a dedicated resource, ensuring that as a growing organization we do everything we can to safeguard our employees and our environment.”
